ATV gloves

Good riding gloves are a must have in my book. Get the wrong kind and you will feel it., the really cheap ones will tear your hands up. I go through a lot of gloves, and no gloves last forever. Buying gloves can be hit or miss. The true challenge is finding reasonable priced gloves that have good performance. So take the time to remember the brand and type of the ones that treat you well.

I tend to go with the gloves by Power Gear. When these are in stock, and at a good price($12-$16), I try to stock up.

Stop Grip Slip

To keep the grips on your ATV from slipping, I have a great tip. I found this tip a while ago and it worked great for me. All it takes is some Brake Cleaner and working quickly.
Make sure you read through the directions first, because if you mess up, you may end up messing up your grips.

  1. Clean the handle bars with brake cleaner
  2. Do this quickly and do each side, one at a time. Apply the brake cleaner on the one of the handle bars, and spray inside the grip for that bar. Slide the grip. Position the grip exactly where you want it. Then don”t move it.
  3. Do the other side (repeat step 2)
  4. Once the brake cleaner dries (about 5 – 10 minutes) you won’t be able to move the grips!

Walla!! A major pain, solved!
